UW Guru User Agreement
Not legal advice. These pages may change. Continued use after notice is acceptance of the new version.
UW Guru is an agent-only placement aid for remote non-medical term, IUL, and final expense life insurance. It is not a carrier, not an insurance agency appointment by itself, not an offer to sell, and not an underwriting decision. A carrier can still decline after MIB, Rx, MVR, or application review even if this tool shows “likely eligible.”
You are responsible for the client data you enter and for following the current carrier application, state insurance law, your appointments, and your own errors-and-omissions coverage. UW Guru does not replace the company application or a field underwriter.
Do not coach a client to conceal or shade answers. Enter what they tell you. If something is unknown, leave it unanswered or mark it for verify. Never tell a client they are approved, will issue, or have guaranteed coverage (except a true guaranteed-issue product, and even then disclose the waiting period).
Access is for licensed agents and named trainees only, after an administrator approves the account. NPN, resident state, and license numbers you submit must be accurate. Trainees work under a named upline who remains responsible for supervision.
Do not share logins. Do not embed this tool on a public website or consumer quote form. Do not use it as a client portal.
Full Social Security numbers are not stored on our servers. You may type an SSN on a call so you can paste a carrier packet or export a case PDF. That full SSN stays in the browser for that session and is discarded. We may keep last-4 only, if you entered it.
We may suspend or close accounts, including for inaccurate license information, shared logins, or misuse of client data. You may delete the cases you entered. Deleting a case removes it from your UW Guru account; it does not change what you already submitted to a carrier.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless Daniel’s counsel names a different state in a later version.
This is not legal advice. Policies may change. Continued use after we post a new version is acceptance of that version. The version date is at the top of this page.
